The Restaurant
Since 1988

Our story
This traditional seafront restaurant, built from wood and love, was born in June 1988. Its founders were Pepín Pujolet and Victoria Baos, the perfect couple to turn their dream into reality. Their willpower and experience in the fishing world, together with the recipe book of Pepín’s mother, Catalina Puvil, and the family’s natural warmth with people, turned what began as a beach shack into one of the island’s landmark restaurants. Today it is the couple’s son who runs the place, having inherited that same spirit of dedication.
Cuisine and space
Our menu has remained the same since day one, and the great secret is to use the best produce with the utmost care. The marine species traditionally used in Ibizan homes can be found on our display counter. Grouper, John Dory, dentex, amberjack, red prawn, lobster, sea cucumbers, Ibizan skate, jigged squid and many others are always present in our kitchen.
The restaurant has a large terrace overlooking the sea and the beach, framed by clay walls that create a perfect setting. The interior dining room is made of wood, with seafaring décor based on mementoes of fishing days and the tools used to put out to sea.

The “Es Jardí” chill-out area is a wonderful space among pines and junipers offering rest and calm during the summer months. It is a perfect setting for celebrating events.
Indoor capacity is 80 inside and 80 on the terraces. Events and celebrations are offered for up to 120 guests.
Our staff are attentive and dedicated, taking care of every detail, of the house and of our guests.
Our kitchen runs in two seasons: the summer one, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. non-stop, from mid-May to mid-October; and the winter one, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (the kitchen closes at 6 p.m.). Restaurant Sa Caleta stays open every day of the year. The chill-out area, the massages and the boutique are available in the summer season. We also offer a luggage and belongings storage service for beachgoers and restaurant guests.
